Saturn is in Aries from February 14, 2026 at 00:39 UTC (7:39 pm Eastern on February 13) until it enters Taurus on April 13, 2028 at 04:04 UTC. It first touched Aries from May 25 to September 1, 2025, then slipped back into Pisces for five and a half months before returning for good. Over the whole cycle Saturn spends about 888 days in Aries, roughly two years and five months. It does not come back to Aries after April 2028: its next retrograde, from August 22, 2028, stays inside Taurus. Saturn takes about 29 and a half years to circle the zodiac, so it was last in Aries from 1996 to 1999, before that from 1967 to 1969 and before that from 1937 to 1940. Saturn is the planet of time, limits, structure and consequence. Saturn turns retrograde once a year for about four and a half months. Inside this transit there are two retrogrades, both in Aries.

The December 10, 2026 direct station falls in the December 2026 astrology calendar, two days before Neptune turns direct on December 12. Plans that stalled from July can move again from mid-December.

Saturn met Neptune at 0 degrees 45 minutes of Aries on February 20, 2026 at 18:29 UTC, six days after Saturn re-entered the sign. It was their first exact conjunction since 1989, when they met three times in Capricorn. It was also the first in Aries since March 1703. In July 2025 the two came within a quarter of a degree of each other without the aspect perfecting, so February 20, 2026 is the single exact meeting of this cycle.
